Branding for the life sciences market

TELSTAR is a group of companies that offers comprehensive service and technology solutions for the worldwide life sciences market whose origins lies in the vacuum pump industry.
Their business repositioning and strong organic and inorganic growth (national and international acquisitions in new business areas) made them aware of the need to create a new brand identity and architecture to let them promote and consolidate their ambitious business project and turn the brand into a valuable strategic asset.
We identified the following challenges: to transfer each company’s accumulated brand capital to the corporate brand, adapt the brand identity to the new positioning, define a customer-oriented brand architecture and promote brand culture in the group.
The result is a new verbal and visual identity aligned with its current and future positioning. A corporate identity that transmits leadership, life sciences, innovation and energy. With regard to the brand architecture, we recommended a solid, elastic, single-brand, customer-oriented model.
